Welcome to Diverse Shelves where we on focus on making your bookshelves more diverse. Our mission is to diversify bookshelves by having book discussions amongst a diverse audience. If your bookshelf is not diverse, you are not well read. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻 We want open conversations on books by authors in every space (genres, themes, topics). Part of being well-read includes reading books by #ownvoices (BIPOC, LGBTQ, etc). While there are no limitations on the types of books and/or authors discussed, we want to consistently dedicate space to amplify #ownvoices. We hope discussions in this space encourage you to try new books outside of your usual reading material. 🤗 This is a safe space.
